Wastewater Heat Recovery
LowEx Heating refers to the use of Exergy theory in the analysis of heating systems. The focus of the project is the recovery and usage of exergy from hot waste water. We are analyzing low temperature heating in combination with a heat pump system, that will incorporate the hot waste water heat recovery. This will lead to a higher COP and help to optimize the efficiency of the system.
The low-temperature-heat pump system is under development by Beat Wellig's group at the HSLU in Horw.
A pilot system will be installed in the B35 building project
