Uni Basel LowE M-Glass Research

Prof. Dr. Peter Oelhafen is working on a new improved coating for high performance windows. The glass is called M-Glass. The the new coating developed by Oelhafen at the Uni Basel makes a sharper removal of the non-visible radiation without distorting the color. This is achieved with an M-shaped spectral cancelation, which gives the glass its name.
